Growth: Encouraging Resources

August 2022

Hi friends, and welcome back!

It’s been a hot minute since I published a post on here! What a full and beautiful summer it has been. My family and I have been spending lots of time outdoors and on the lake and I have to say, I think this is the tannest I have ever been! :)

I certainly hope each of you have gotten a lot out of your summer so far. It’s not quite over yet!

I wanted to share a few resources that have been so helpful to me. A few of you have asked me to write up a list- so here it is! I’m thankful to live in “such a time as this” where we have access to amazing ways to grow. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Cleerly Stated

This is a beautiful site full of scripture gifts for friends or yourself- I love their devotional and verse card sets. I have one on my window ledge in my kitchen and I seriously read them everyday! I can’t count the number of times I’ve ordered gifts from them- they really are such a great shop.

The Daily Grace Co.

I stumbled upon Daily Grace on Instagram- they have countless Bible studies that are all so well written and aesthetically pleasing. They also have a podcast, and every episode I have listened to has challenged me to my core. They bring everything back to the Word. So good. I will link my top fav episodes for you.

Risen Motherhood

The one has a very special place in my heart- it was one of the first ministries I found after a few years of motherhood. Their book continually inspires me and they tackle great spiritual topics such as prayer, fear, work, fruit of the Spirit, etc. on their podcast. It’s always a great listen!

Ruth Chou Simons

Ruth has authored When Strivings Cease and Beholding and Becoming. She exudes beauty and grace and her books certainly speak to how we can walk in that. She also has a podcast.

Well Watered Women

I read the Well-Watered Woman last year, and wow what a powerful read. This company also has Bible studies, journals, articles and Bible study tools for growing in your walk with Christ. I just purchased the “Give Me Jesus” journal, and I can’t wait to start journaling scripture and writing out ways to apply it to my daily life.

Journal

She Reads Truth

All about reading the Word of God. They have beautifully detailed reading plans for everyone, and even offer Bible study materials subscriptions.

September and Co.

This company isn’t only for those who homeschool- they have hands on tools for helping develop character in your kids and family. Educational resources abound on their site as well as Bible study tools.

Modern Farmhouse Family

I just love Sarah from the Modern Farmhouse Family. I found her on Instagram and I always leave her site encouraged to live in joy and love my life. She is the mother of 6 boys and is a stellar wife and homeschool teacher as well. Her website, blog and Insta account will point you to fun and helpful resources and well as encourage you in your journey as a wife and mama.

That’s it for me today, friends! As always, I hope you leave here encouraged to live an intentionally beautiful life! I know this to be true: the more we seek God, the more we find Him.

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all of your heart.”- Jeremiah 29:13

“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”- Psalm 105:4

“Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts.”- Psalm 119:2

“I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.”- Psalm 119:45

“How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your Word.”- Psalm 119:9
